Architect Feilden Clegg Bradley has taken over as lead architect from Llewelyn Davies Yeang on the Bath Western Riverside scheme.
Llewelyn Davies Yeang was appointed masterplanner in January 2004. Feilden Clegg will use its masterplan as a basis of its planning application and will work alongside Crest Nicholson on detailed designs. It will also work with Grosvenor, which is the master developer for the site.
Bath Western Riverside will regenerate around 26 ha in the centre of Bath. There is expected to be more than 2000 homes and 100,000 m2 of mixed commercial development and infrastructure.
John Betty, major projects director at Bath and North East Somerset council, said: “Feilden Clegg Bradley are going to do detailed work on the residential elements for Crest Nicholson.
“They will take it up to planning, which we expect to be submitted in next spring.”
