Development in NW Bicester gets the green light
Farrells has won planning for 2,600 homes in the planned eco-town of North West Bicester. The masterplanner has received outline planning permission for the new development by housing association A2Dominion on 155 hectare of land north of Lords Lane, which will provide 393 true zero carbon homes.
The homes form part of the Bicester masterplan which will see 6,000 low-energy homes built alongside a new primary school, cafe, restaurant and shops, public square and community hall.
Iain Painting, senior planning partner at the scheme’s planning consultant Barton Willmore said: “These ambitious proposals are consistent with the original masterplan and the overarching aim to deliver a valuable and sustainable community that supports and enhances the town of Bicester.”
