Seven women at Faithful + Gould's LIverpool office set out to promote women in construction
Women may make up only 10% of the UK construction workforce but at Faithful + Gould’s Liverpool office they make up over 30% of the team.
Jennifer Largue, Louise Largue, Gisele Partridge, Joanne Blakemore, Hayley Herrity, Sara Mitchell and Michelle McCrudden have over 31 years experience between them.
Collectively they are striving to help promote construction as an attractive career option for women across Merseyside.
Andy Luty at Faithful+Gould said: “On average, each year the construction industry offers career opportunities for enough people to fill a football stadium. We want women to view construction as a viable career option and are urging them to speak to us if they want to know more.”
