Ex-Kier chief engineer starts new consultancy

A new consultancy has been set up by two senior civil engineers, which will focus on bridge, concrete structure and marine work.

Bell Johnson has been created by Brian Bell and Barry Johnson, who have over seven decades of experience between them.

Bell was previously a director at Robert Benaim & Associates, while Johnson retired last month as a chief engineer at Kier.

Bell said: “Currently, the construction industry suffers from being polarised, with the thinkers and the doers too often at opposite ends of the spectrum. We want to achieve a more integrated and cohesive approach.”
