Bridge will form part of London Olympic rowing and canoe sprint facilities

A new bridge has been lifted into place at Eton College Rowing Centre as part of the London 2012 rowing and canoe sprint facilities.

Construction work is already under way to improve the venue's existing facilities for athletes warm-up events, at Dorney Lake, Windsor.

The new 50m bridge will provide increased access to the finish line area of the venue.

Further enhancement works on the site are expected to be completed by spring 2010.
