English Partnerships appoints seven consultants to its project management and cost consultancy framework

English Partnerships has appointed seven consultants to its project management and cost consultancy framework.

The firms on the regeneration agency’s panel for the next four years are Cyril Sweett, Rider Levett Bucknall, Currie & Brown, Capita Symonds, PRP Architects, Mace Group and Turner & Townsend.

The seven companies can bid for work on the agency’s programmes, such as green housebuilding initiative Carbon Challenge and the £320m Hospital Sites Programme to turn former NHS sites into residential developments.

The framework is expected to continue once EP and the Housing Corporation are merged into a single body – the Homes and Communities Agency – in December.

Fiona Piercy, head of national consultancy at EP, said the simplified procurement procedure would “help the sector to ride out the current market conditions”.

About 80 councils have so far signed up to use the panel.
