Building materials group Ennstone buys concrete manufacturer with turnover of £3.75m
Building materials group Ennstone has bought East Midlands concrete manufacturer Jackson Precast for £6m.
Jackson reported a pre-tax profit of £0.43m for the year ended 31 December 2005, on a turnover of £3.75m. Jackson will operate under Ennstone Building Products Ltd, Ennstone’s building products operation.
Ennstone chairman Vaughan McLeod said: “Jacksons is a heavy end precast business, which fits into our strategy to provide routes to market for our aggregates, particularly our dust. It produces products for our target growth markets in our key East Midlands region.”
