Materials firm makes changes at the top after a difficult few months
Materials firm Ennstone has appointed Julian Cooper executive chairman of the company.
Cooper will replace Graham Brown, who will remain on the board of the company as non-executive director. Brown, a former finance director of Wilson Bowden, was appointed interim executive chairman following the September announcement of former chairman Vaughan McLeod that he would retire in 2009. McLeod has continued in the role of chief executive officer.
Tim Ross, a non-executive director, also resigned from the company on 29 December. The company has had a difficult few months, with tough trading conditions leading to a 10% head-count reduction.
