Industry’s annual sustainability conference, Making Sustainable Development Happen, has announced a star line-up of speakers
Dame Ellen Macarthur has been announced as one of the star speakers at this year’s Making Sustainable Development Happen conference later this month.
The record-breaking yachtswoman will be appearing alongside housing minister John Healey, shadow housing minister Grant Shapps in London on 24 November.
Other speakers at the annual event, organised by the UK Green Building Council and Building magazine, will include David Kennedy, CEO of the Climate Change Committee CEO and John Sauven, Greenpeace executive director.
Following the conference Building will be holding its Sustainability Awards reception, which will celebrate the very best examples of sustainable construction the industry has to offer.
