This City Road estate designed by Squire + Partners will face a public inquiry after developer Derwent London lodged an appeal.

The inquiry into the scheme, which includes a 39-storey tower, will start on 8 July, almost a year after it was rejected by Islington council, against the advice of planning officers. A Cabe design review conducted at the time praised the scheme, saying it was “elegant and well-proportioned”.
