David Pollock will hand over to deputy Steve Bratt in September
David Pollock, chief executive officer of the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA), has announced that he will step down at the end of September.
ECA deputy chief executive Steve Bratt will take over from Pollock, who will continue as an advisor, representing the ECA’s interests in Europe and in lobbying and representational work.
Pollock said: “I have spent an exciting and fulfilling 13 years with ECA. I am very glad that council has agreed that my successor should be Steve Bratt. I wish him, our president, Diane, the other officers and all the members and staff the greatest possible success.
“I am looking forward to a very active retirement and I am glad I shall be continuing to represent the ECA in some important areas.”
Diane Johnson, ECA president, said: “We are sad that David is stepping down and I would like to express my sincere thanks on behalf of the members of the association for the excellent work undertaken during his time with the ECA.”
The ECA represents the interests of 3,000 member companies involved in electrical installation work.
