Dru Fires has launched the Metro 80e – an electric version of its Metro gas fire.
It is a frameless, “hole-in-the-wall” contemporary fire designed to fit either a standard or false chimney breast. It is glass-fronted, operated by remote control, and has an adjustable heat output of 2kW, enough to heat an average-sized living room.
The flame picture is generated by LED technology – there are 16 different flame height settings and up to 100,000 flame pattern variations. In addition, there is a deep, glowing fire bed with a choice of twigs or white pebbles.
The flame picture has an electricity consumption of 15W and there is no need to periodically change the bulbs.
