Jo Swinson, for her part, said the Lib Dems are committed to helping small businesses.
So what do you think of it all? This week Building is running its own survey, which should only take a few minutes to fill in online.
And to thank you for your time there is a prize draw of a £50 Amazon voucher for respondents who wish to enter.
All the survey information you give us can remain anonymous and confidential.
Thank you and watch this space for the findings of our research.
