Edmund Nuttall has posted a 4% rise in turnover from £572m to £594m for the year ended 31 December 2007.
The civil engineering group’s pre-tax profit dipped slightly from £19.6m to £19.3m over the same period.
Martin Rogers, the chief executive, said Nuttall’s 3.2% margin confirmed it as “a leading civil engineering company in the UK market”.
It is working with Morrison Construction on a £200m deal to clean up the 270ha 2012 Olympic park. Its forward order book at the year end stood at £640m and it won a further £200m of work in the first two months of 2008.
Edmund Nuttall is an operating company of Dutch group Royal Bam, which reported a profit of *349m (£278m) on turnover of *8.95bn (£7.1bn) in 2007.
