Consultants will work with Bonaventura Consortium to build 51km of roads
Consultant EC Harris has won a three year Technical Advisor role on the first PPP road deal in Austria.
The firm will work with the Bonaventura Consortium on the €986m project, which will include the construction of 51.2km of road and associated bridge and tunnel structures, extending the A5 road from north of Vienna towards the Czech Republic, the S1 East and S1 West forming part of the Vienna Ring Road and the S2 Bypass.
Also this week, rival consultant Davis Langdon was appointed Cost Manager on two major regeneration schemes in the North West of England worth a total of almost £400 million for Amec Developments.
The projects are both mixed use schemes that will revitalise previously rundown areas in two towns.
Doncaster Waterdale is a £200m development which will develop a 60 acre site on the edge of the town centre into a new civic and cultural quarter. New facilities will include council offices, a performance venue, library and leisure centre.
Talbot Gateway worth £190m, will regenerate the rundown north eastern part of the Talbot and will include a new public square, 100,000 sq ft of council offices, a courthouse and a 70,000 sq ft supermarket.
