Consultant takes on new head of oil and gas in the region

EC Harris has appointed Rachael Campbell as new head of oil and gas in the US. Based at the consultant’s Houston office, Campbell will be responsible for developing the firm’s offering to existing and potential clients in the region in both the upstream and downstream sectors.

Campbell joins EC Harris from the Wood Group where she worked as the business development manager for the Middle East, Africa, North America and the Caspian region.  She was in charge of managing tendering activity and pursuing new business opportunities and saw her work across the globe in locations including Norway, Dubai, Azerbaijan and Oman.

Prior to taking on that role Campbell worked as a project delivery leader and a project controls engineer on several major client contracts within the oil and gas industry. In the later role she acted as the focal point for planning, cost control and change management issues and coordinated large teams that included senior clients, engineers, the supply chain and the finance division.
