Morgan Sindall carrying out first phase of work in Hackney

Hackney council has launched a search for a contractor to develop the second phase of its £385m Britannia mixed-use scheme.

Morgan Sindall was named as the preferred bidder a year ago to deliver the first phase of the job for the local authority, which will see the contractor build a leisure centre, a secondary school and a new public square.
