Chris Skidmore’s review says UK has ‘fallen behind’ on targets

The government’s climate tsar has published the results of his wide-ranging review of UK net zero policy, recommending a series of policies for the built environment. 

Chris Skidmore, a backbench MP who served as minister of state for universities, science, research and innovation in the Johnson government, was commissioned by former business secretary Jacob Rees-Mogg last September to carry out the research.
