ACO has launched the MultiDrain MD channel system. The system features a channel profile made out of a lightweight polymer concrete channel with integrated steel edge rails, which can work in combination with a range of gratings for specific Load Class applications.
The gratings range from cast iron, galvanised and stainless steel to composite and brickslot, and can be easily changed or removed for maintenance.
The new “V” profile of the base channel increases the flow speed of drained water, promoting self-cleaning. It has a higher hydraulic capacity and is less prone to blockage due to the bar-less Drainlock system, while its external profile improves stability and anchors the channel more securely into the concrete surround.
There are three sizes in the MultiDrain MD range, with channel widths of 100mm, 150mm and 200mm respectively. Available in 0.5m and 1m lengths, the end of each channel section is cast with a male/female connector, allowing rapid installation.
