The TP Bennett-designed development will feature 841 student beds, offering five, six or seven-bedroom cluster units
Downing, the Liverpool-based developer, has secured planning permission from Lambeth Council for a 37-storey student building and six-storey commercial office development in Vauxhall.
The TP Bennett-designed development (pictured) will feature 841 student beds, offering five, six or seven-bedroom cluster units.
A second building will feature 3,583m² open-plan, commercial office space with a rooftop multi-use games area, plus a public sports facility that will be open to both students and local people.
Downing said the accommodation will be offered at different price points “to enable entry to a wider range of students”.
The scheme is Downing’s second in Vauxhall; it is also delivering the neighbouring Atlas development at 30-60 South Lambeth Road, due for completion next year.
