Waterwise Technology has added to its Cobra Cyclone range of centrifugal dirt separators with the introduction of a 90m3 per hour unit that comes with the option of an insulated jacket.

Dirt separators are used to remove the suspended solids in the recirculating water of heating and cooling systems, improving efficiency and helping to prevent blockages in the filters.

The new unit is the largest in the Waterwise CSF and STC ranges of sidestream filtration units for closed circuit heating, chilled water systems and cooling towers. Waterwise says it was developed because of increased demand for larger buildings. The insulated jackets are intended to maximise the efficiency and sustainability of the filters.
