Brent Council gives detailed planning consent for £150m retail park

Brent council's planning committee yesterday granted detailed planning consent for the £150m redevelopment of Oriental City at 399 Edgware Road, north London.

The mixed-use development at Colindale will include 300,000 ft2 of gross internal retail and 520 units of private and affordable housing, along with associated retail and residential car parking.

An 80,000 ft2 primary school for 420 pupils will also be included within the scheme.
