Both urban and landscaping contracts to be awarded through a framework agreement over the next four years
The Olympic Park Legacy Company has invited design firms to apply to work on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The company is searching for a variety of sizes of design practices to form a framework panel to work on new neighbourhoods, venues, parkland and public spaces at the site. The framework will last for four years starting from March 2012.
There will be up to £750,000 of contracts available each year across all the design streams, which will also include graphic design work.
Kathryn Firth, chief of design at the Olympic Park Legacy Company, said: “Legacy plans for the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park are more advanced than any other previous host Olympic city and we want to ensure that design is at the core of these plans.”
Firms have until 28 November to apply to work on either the urban design and architecture around the park or landscape design within the park.
