Consultant will work on Heart of Hounslow Centre of Health and Gracefield Gardens in Lambeth
Consultant Davis Langdon will help deliver two of the first five polyclinics for London expected to be up and running by next spring.
Heart of Hounslow Centre of Health and Gracefield Gardens in Lambeth will be housed in recently completed buildings procured under the LIFT process.
John Hicks, head of the public division, said: “I am delighted that two of our projects have been chosen as the locations for this major new initiative.
“It is great testament to the quality and sophistication of the facilities which we are helping to deliver within the sector."
Polyclinics are designed to bring together GP services, social care and community healthcare under one roof.
The clinics will also provide community services, outpatient clinics, pharmacy and health information as well as onsite diagnostic facilities such as blood tests, CT scans and minor surgical procedures.
The UK government plans to introduce polyclinics throughout the 31 primary care trusts in London within the next five years.
Davis Langdon’s public team are working on a number of major projects including the maternity and oncology unit at the University of North Staffordshire NHS Trust, The Bath Hospital for Circle Healthcare and Ealing Hospital as part of the LIFT programme.
