Work will involve nine refurbishment projects over 59km
Bristol Water has awarded Daniel Contractors a mains refurbishment contract worth £17 million.
The firm will work specifically on the AMP5 trunk mains refurbishment framework that includes nine refurbishment projects over a 59km span.
Daniel chief executive Andrew Bell said: “Having successfully worked with Bristol Water for a number of years delivering the network maintenance contract, we are delighted to have been appointed as the framework partner to deliver these strategic AMP5 refurbishment projects.
“Our proven track record of operational delivery, continuous improvement and innovative design and LDTM rehabilitation techniques mean that we are well placed to deliver best value for Bristol Water and its customers.”
