Consultants Cyril Sweett and White Young Green are among the seven firms appointed to an Office of Government Commerce framework.
Jacobs, Capita Symonds and Pick Everard have also been appointed, while Gardiner & Theobald and QMP have been retained.
The four-year framework is to provide technical assurance services, which include project monitoring and procurement advice. It runs across all government departments.
The framework is expected to provide about £6m in contracts each year and starts next month.
It includes any projects that use government funding, for example lottery projects, or local authority schemes.
