Deal to deliver health centres includes 10-year exclusivity
Cyril Sweett Investments and Miller Corporate Holdings have signed a deal to deliver £400m of community facilities in northern Scotland.
Operating as hub North Scotland, the joint venture will provide primary and community care schemes worth over £750,000 as part of a 25-year concession with a 10-year exclusivity period and will see Cyril Sweett put up £7m of cash.
In a statement Derek Sharkey, project director at Cyril Sweett Investments and interim chief executive of hub North Scotland said: “We are delighted to have reached a significant milestone in achieving contract close on hub North.
“We are progressing well with the initial projects and look forward to working with local partners and businesses over the coming years.”
Initial projects under the scheme are Aberdeen Health Village, Tain Replacement Health Centre and Woodside Medical Group.
