Annual charity event was due to be underway now
The annual Cycle to Mipim charity event has been replaced by a series of smaller rides across the UK.
The 1,500km cycle from London to Cannes, which raises money for children’s charity Coram, was cancelled when organisers of the international property show Mipim were forced to postpone the event over coronavirus fears.
Mipim was originally due to be held in the south of France next week but has been rescheduled for 2-5 June.
The organiser of the cycle that was meant to start today, Club Peleton, has taken to Twitter to reveal details of alternate rides.
