David Morris will head an expanding team at QS's St Helier office
QS firm Currie & Brown has strengthened its presence in Jersey by appointing a full-time office manager.
David Morris, who has been with the company for over four years, will lead a team of seven people from the company's St Helier office.
The team will provide quantity surveying and an increasing range of other services, including project management. It will focus on the development of the waterfront and the regeneration of St Helier as key projects.
The team is to be expanded further through local recruitment and the transfer of employees from other Currie & Brown offices.
Morris said: “We are able to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience of specific sectors to the projects we work on. That is key. It is not a 'one size fits all' solution, but a tailored package for each individual client that understands the marketplace in which they operate, whether that is in area of finance, energy, education health or property developments in the public or private sector.”
