Currie & Brown buys Hill Associates in Jersey

Currie & Brown has bought Jersey-based building surveyor Hill Associates for an undisclosed sum.

The consultant said its acquisition of the 20 year-old firm, which completed last week, would boost its business in the region.

David Broomer, chairman of Currie & Brown, said: “This demonstrates the willingness of Currie & Brown to make strategic acquisitions at any level of our business, where it is clearly demonstrated that deals such as this will enhance our specialist knowledge and deliver real value to clients.”

Currie & Brown associate director Rob Luscombe will head up the business while Hill Associates founder Tony Hill will join Currie & Brown.

Hill said: “Hill Associates has established itself in the commercial property sector over a long period. After 20 years, we are now joining Currie & Brown, a move that brings our new and existing clients both UK and international reach when they need it.”
