East-west London rail link puts latest station job out to market
Crossrail has tendered a £35m job to build the main Custom House station for the east-west London rail link.
The build contract, to last around six years, covers everything from the demolition of existing buildings, piling, to the fit-out and the creation of a new footbridge connecting the station to the Excel exhibition centre. The station, when complete, will sit alongside the existing Docklands Light Railway station on the site.
Interested contractors have until the 19th of December to respond to the tender.
