Crossrail appoints a new programme controls director

Crossrail has appointed Steve Elliot to a new role of programme controls director. Elliot, who is currently head of programmes at Parsons Brinckerhoff, will take up the position on 11 April.

In his new role, he will be responsible for developing and heading an efficient programme controls function, which it is hoped will deliver the Crossrail project to time, specification and cost.

Andy Mitchell, Crossrail programme director, welcomed the new appointment.

He said: “I am delighted that Steve Elliot will be joining the team. The Crossrail programme controls director will ensure that the project continues to successfully meet its construction schedule.”
