Toby Courtauld, the chief executive of Great Portland Estates, has been announced as the new president of the British Property Federation in 2011.
He will follow the current president, Rupert Clarke, and vice president, John Richards, who will hold the top position in 2010/11.
Courtauld said: “It is a real privilege to have the opportunity to contribute to the BPF in this way and I am greatly looking forward to working with Liz and her team”.
Liz Peace, chief executive of the BPF, said: “We are delighted that Toby, one of the industry’s brightest young stars, has agreed to become our new junior vice president.
