Five-year contract will see delivery of both clean and waste water programmes
Contractor Costain has been retained as a delivery partner by Welsh Water for its latest five-year framework, likely to be worth approximately £60m to the firm.
The contractor said it had been kept on for the Asset Management Programme 5 period, which begins on 1 April 2010 and will provide both clean and waste water programmes for Costain to design and build..
Andrew Wyllie, chief executive, said he was “delighted” to announce the win. “Costain is a market leader in the water sector and this award is a direct result of our strategy to focus on repeat order work with key customers.”
