Costain has won a contract for the dualling of the A8 between Belfast and Larne, in a joint venture with Lagan Construction and Ferrovial Agroman.

The £80m deal is for phase one of an early contractor involvement (ECI) contract for the scheme, supporting the Roads Service in taking it through the planning process as well as for design and construction.
