The HawkinsBrown-designed Corby Cube in Northamptonshire was topped out last Friday

The £27m “civic hub” includes a 445-seat theatre, cafe, library and administrative space for the council. The project is part of a wider regeneration scheme for the former steel town of Corby. Work began on the 7,700m2 scheme in February last year and is scheduled for completion in 2010. It is BREEAM “excellent” rated. The developer is the North Northants Development Company in partnership with central and local government.
