The Mountain housing scheme in Copenhagen has added an international Urban Land Institute Award for Excellence to its string of accolades
The scheme, designed by Bjarke Ingels Group, has already won the housing category at the World Architecture Festival in 2008 and the 2009 Mipim prize. The block, built for clients Høpfner and Dansk Olie Kompagni, has roof gardens and parking on the upper floors, allowing residents to park outside their homes despite living in the city.
