ODA puts last permanent Olympic Park construction projects out to tender
The Olympic Delivery Agency is advertising for a contractor to build the handball arena. The arena is one of the last permanent projects for the 2012 games to be put out to tender.
The ODA is planning to appoint a design and build contractor early next year to begin work in the summer.
The arena has been designed by Make Architects with PTW and Ove Arup and Partners. After it has served as a venue for handball during the Olympics and goalball during the Paralympic Games it will serve as an indoor, multi-sports venue.
