Four year job covering West of England started this month
The West of England Combined Authority has appointed Aecom, WSP and Atkins to a four-year infrastructure framework set to be used by local councils in the region.
The professional services framework is the successor to Bristol city council’s single provider one.
In the procurement report, the authority said: “We have a pipeline of projects being developed that have a theoretical value of approaching £2bn.”
As well as Bristol council, the combined authority also includes North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Bath and North East Somerset councils.
The framework will cover 34 specialisms including transport studies and planning, ground surveys and project management. The deal started in earnest this week.
