Engineering consultant plans to add 50 new staff in the next year and 500 over next five years
A medium-sized consultant has outlined plans to add 50 new staff in the next year after receiving a £1.5m boost from its bank.
Waldeck Consulting, a design and engineering consultancy, hopes to take its staff count to over 200 by the end of this year after getting funding from Santander to help with its growth plans.
The consultancy works across the infrastructure, industrial and major building sectors, and has been involved in high-profile infrastructure projects including the London 2012 Olympics, Crossrail and EDF’s nuclear new build programme.
It expects to grow 70% by its 2017 financial year and plans to add 500 new employees in the next five years.
