Tune up for Construction Rocks – UK construction’s battle of the bands
Calling all construction “rock gods”…
Entries are now open for the construction industry’s battle of the bands, Construction Rocks.
The annual event pits bands from the construction and property sectors against each other to raise money for charity. It has raised a total of £40,000 since its inception in 2008 and aims to raise another £15,000 this year. LandAid will be this year’s main benefactor. Six bands have already entered the contest, among them Rolfe Judd and the Lost Profits (Rolfe Judd), Zero Charm (Mansell/Balfour Beatty) and Wild S*? Party (WSP).
This year’s event will take place in Camden, London, on 18 October.
Top prize this year is a full day session at a professional recording studio. For more information, or to enter, contact emily.beadon@wspgroup.com.
