Laing O’Rourke, Crest Nicholson and Mott MacDonald among UK’s top 100 biggest private companies
Laing O’Rourke, Mott MacDonald and Arup have made The Sunday Times list of the country's 100 biggest private companies.
Contractor Laing O’Rourke ranks seven, the same position it held in 2007.
Construction equipment maker JCB has climbed 11 places to number nine.
Housebuilders Crest Nicholson and Gladedale are listed as 74 and 87 respectively.
Infrastructure project manager John Laing is at 87, down one place from last year.
Design and engineering consultant Arup drops four points to 91.
The table ranks the biggest private companies by their latest sales figures.
