Morgan Sindall Professional Services has appointed Stuart Parker regional manager for their Scotland office. Parker will focus on supporting existing clients as well as winning new business.

Peter Bishop has been appointed director for Allies and Morrison Urban Practitioners. Bishop was formerly deputy chief executive of the London Development Agency.

PKF has promoted Hamid Ghafoor to partnership level at the accountancy firm. Ghafoor joined PKF as manager six years ago and currently heads up the firm’s national social housing team.

Peter Pawsey has been appointed the inaugural chair of the Worcestershire Local Partnership. He is chairman of Robert West Consulting Engineers and director of Midland Heart.

Contractors

Miller Construction has appointed Andrew Cartwright director of health. Cartwright joins Miller from Laing O’Rourke. He will be managing a joint venture.

Specialists

Peter Sharp has been appointed to the board of Michelmersh Brick Holdings. Sharp joined the group as works manager in 2002.
