Social housing firm says it has made a strong start to its financial year
Social housing company Connaught has announced a £185m order intake since the start of their financial year 14 weeks ago.
This year the company acquired National Britannia, a specialist provider of multiple 'white collar' compliance services, including health and safety advisory, inspection and testing, training and information services. T
Connaught says the acquisition has brought with it blue-chip clients such as British Telecom, Sainsbury, Royal Bank of Scotland, Marks & Spencer, BP and Rolls Royce.
In an interim management statement chairman Mark Tincknell said: “The group has started this financial year strongly and we expect to see further progress throughout 2008.
"I am particularly pleased with the landmark acquisition of National Britannia, which alongside our blue collar operations will allow us to further develop our compliance division.
"The integration of all our recent acquisitions is progressing in line with expectations and we are extremely confident as to the prospects for 2008.”
