Countdown alert system aimed at demystify regulation changes
CITB-ConstructionSkills has launched a countdown alert system tailoured to SMEs, to help demystify upcoming regulation changes.
The initiative aims to help small businesses take advantage of upcoming low carbon schemes including the Green Deal, Renewable Heat Incentives and the Green Investment Bank.
The email alert service – developed by the Cut the Carbon Partnership – will count down to upcoming changes in low carbon policy.
Mark Farrar, chief executive of CITB-ConstructionSkills, said: “The drive for a low carbon construction industry is prompting a number of changes to policy and new legislative requirements, which can be confusing.
“But is also creating great opportunities for SMEs to win low-carbon work. This service helps them to understand what they need to do to be compliant, when, and how to make the most of opportunities that are on offer.”
More information on the countdown alerts is available at www.cskills.org/cutcarbon.
