From carbon calculators to avoiding the Apocalypse, it's slide rules for sustainabilty at the ExCel
The UK’s leading engineerings will be taking to the floor to discuss the practical way forward for sustainability at the Think 08 event.
Speakers from Gleeds, Mott MacDonald and Arup among others will all be taking part in the two-day ‘Engineering the Future’ seminar series in East London’s ExCel centre, on Wednesday and Thursday the 7th and 8th of May.
The topics include many hot button issues at the junction of sustainability and engineering, including renewable and nuclear energy, low carbon design, the public sector and where next for the EPC agenda.
The Engineering seminars run from 10.20am to around 4pm on both days. They constitute just one of six tracks of seminars taking place over the two-day event.
