Wanda Group signs sponsorship deal covering the next four World Cups
China’s largest property developer and the firm behind London’s One Nine Elms double tower scheme (pictured) has become the first Chinese top-tier partner of FIFA.
Wanda Group has signed a sponsorship deal covering the next four World Cups to 2030.
Fifa’s current top five sponsors - Coca Cola, Gazprom, Adidas, Visa, Hyundai - paid around $180m to the FIFA last year.
The sponsorship deal is the first under new FIFA president Gianni Infantino, who has taken over from Sepp Blatter amid a period of turmoil for the governing body.
