Chinese firm erects 30-floor hotel in 15 days

A Chinese firm has built a 30-floor hotel in just 15 days - and captured the feat in a time-lapse video.

The contractor Broad Group built the 180,000ft² hotel prototype in the south-central Chinese city of Changsha in just 15 days.

All the key components were prefabricated off-site and, according the video footage, the builders took just 46 hours to finish the main structural components and another 90 hours to finish the building enclosure.

Last year the firm built a 16-storey residential block in just five days.
