London Paramount theme park developer secures £100m investment from Chinese construction firm

A Chinese construction firm has invested £100m in the planned £3.2bn London Paramount theme park in Kent.

The cash injection from SinoForte is the first external investment in the 900-acre project, whihc is being developed by London Resort Company Holdings.

The theme park will include an array of rises based on popular television programmes and Holywood films, as well as a theatre, water park, hotels and nightclubs.

The attraction plans to open in 2021. A government decision on planning permission is expect in late 2017.
