Consultant will provide feasibility study for new reception and cost and project management support on leisure facility
ChandlerKBS has started work on a number of new projects for the University of East London as part of an ongoing consultancy framework agreement.
The firm is undertaking a feasibility study for a new reception building as well as providing cost and project management support on a new leisure facility, and a refurbishment of the original iconic student accommodation, all at the Docklands campus.
It is also working on a feasibility study for a new sports facility and refurbishment of the five storey Edwards building on the Stratford campus.
David Beale, partner at ChandlerKBS, said: “UEL is a very important client to ChandlerKBS. We continue to be involved in an interesting variety of projects and have been afforded the opportunity of advising not only at project level but also at strategic level with an input to the university’s overall Estates Development Strategy”.
The university awarded ChandlerKBS with a framework agreement in early 2005.
Since the firm has worked on 26 projects including new builds and refurbishments.
